Aljoša Videtič

Aljoša Videtič is a documentary wedding photographer with 25 years behind the camera, based in Slovenia and at work across Italy from the lakes to Sicily. His photographs follow the day as it unfolds, the genuine moments, the emotion and the atmosphere, rather than a list of set pieces.

Aljoša describes his approach as documentary and storytelling: an attentive observer who stays close without staging the day out of the couple's hands. He speaks fluent Italian, Spanish and English, so an international wedding in Italy runs easily on both sides of the camera, with the venue staff as much as with the couple's families. Couples from Canada, Australia, the UK and the US have brought him to Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast and further afield, and his Italian work has been featured by Junebug Weddings.
