Rocks The Room

Rocks The Room are a London function band who do exactly what the name promises. Black and women-owned and built around powerhouse vocalists, they weave soul, Motown and R&B — Stevie Wonder to Beyoncé, Aretha Franklin to John Legend — into a setlist that is as timeless as it is fresh. Destination weddings are part of the diary, and Italy is on it.

The band scales to the room: a dynamic five-piece up to a full ten-piece with live horns, keys and a choreographed stage show, and they learn a couple's first dance on request. Harmonies that lift the roof, rhythms that hit deep — in their own words, they don't just play the music, they make sure you feel it. One recent wedding couple put it more simply: every guest up and dancing, all night long.
