Everything you need to know
La Roccaccia is a medieval watchtower built in 1080 AD on a rocky spur overlooking a valley in the Monti Sibillini National Park — one of Italy's most dramatic and unspoiled landscapes. The tower was originally constructed to defend the Marca Fermana, and today it stands as a wedding venue of extraordinary character: a private amphitheatre carved into the hillside for ceremonies, views stretching to Mount Sibilla and the Infernaccio Gorge, a swimming pool and heated outdoor Jacuzzi set among gardens enriched with Land Art installations, and the medieval village of Montefortino as a backdrop. This is a venue for couples who want wild beauty and ancient history rather than manicured formality.

La Roccaccia — wedding venue in Montefortino, Marche
Built in 1080 AD as a defensive watchtower for the Marca Fermana, La Roccaccia has stood sentinel on its rocky spur for nearly a thousand years. The tower commands views across the valley to Mount Sibilla, the Infernaccio Gorge, and the medieval hilltop village of Montefortino.
The property has been restored as part of the MarcheAmore collective, which celebrates the unique landscape and heritage of this corner of Le Marche. Land Art installations by contemporary artists are woven through the grounds, creating a dialogue between the tower's medieval origins and modern creative expression.
