They shoot the day on a phone — usually a current iPhone, often on a gimbal — in the vertical formats Instagram and TikTok are built for: getting ready, the ceremony from the guests' side, the aperitivo, the speeches, the dance floor. Most deliver every raw clip within 24 hours and a set of edited reels within two or three days. It is a different job from photography or film: a record of how the day felt from the inside, delivered while everyone is still talking about it.

From the prices creators publish, short coverage of one to four hours runs €200–600, a full wedding day from an Italy-based creator €700–1,500, and destination or premium creators €1,500–2,500. Two- and three-day packages — welcome dinner, wedding, then the day after — are published at €2,600–3,600 plus VAT. Catholic dioceses set their own rules for photographers and video operators, and several popular destination dioceses limit how many can work during the service — on the Amalfi Coast, for example, one photographer with an assistant and, where needed, one video operator. A creator may need to count as one of those operators, work from the back, or pick up the story at the church door. Civil ceremonies follow the town hall's own rules, and a symbolic ceremony at the venue is up to you, your celebrant and the venue.
