A more panoramic position could not have been created. The beautiful Villa Carlotta is set in a natural basin between lake and mountains, facing the Dolomite Grignas and the peninsula of Bellagio. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful with regal interiors but it's the world famous flowering gardens and huge park decorated with sculptures, stairs and fountains that will take your breath away.  What a setting for your Lake Como wedding ceremony!  Old varieties of camellias, century old cedars and sequoias, tropical plants, the Rock garden, the Ferns valley, the Rhododendrons wood and the Bamboos garden, the agricultural tools museum and the wonderful views of the lake make this a taste of Paradise!

Villa Carlotta is a public museum and botanical garden. The terrace beside the museum can be rented for your wedding dinner, but the ceremony takes place in the gardens during public opening hours, and full exclusive use of the entire property is not available as the museum continues to operate.

Are there restrictions on dates, music and timings?

Yes. Wedding ceremonies at Villa Carlotta take place on weekdays only, never at weekends, and all spaces must be vacated by 23:00. There is no DJ, no dancing area and no fireworks anywhere on the property, and no overnight accommodation. Catering is by the venue's partner caterers, and because the museum interiors are not available for private events, a marquee over the terrace is required as the wet-weather plan. A civil ceremony is arranged directly with the Comune di Tremezzina.
