Italian Wedding Packages 2027: The Venues That Price the Whole Wedding

Italian wedding packages for 2027, from the venues' own figures: 50 venues in 15 regions that price the venue with the beds, the food with the drink, or the whole wedding in one number. What packages include, what they leave out, and what to ask.

By Italian Venues
13 min read

Few Italian venues sell a wedding the way a hotel at home does: one number, one guest count, done. Many more sell part of it as a package. We read the files of all 290 wedding venues we list, and the 71 fact packs built from Verified venues' own documents, to find every one. Fifty-three name a package, an all-inclusive price or a buy-out; fifty put a figure on it. Here they are, with what packages include, what they leave out, and how they add up against what couples budget.

What "package" means in Italy

Search for Italy wedding packages and you expect tiers: silver, gold, platinum, a price per head that covers everything. That product is rare here. Of the 290 wedding venues we list, 272 sell exclusive use: the property is yours for the day or the stay, and the wedding is built inside it. When an Italian venue says "package", it is bundling some of the pieces of that exclusivity, and the word covers three different things.

The venue and the beds: exclusive use for a set number of nights, the rooms and breakfast included, food and drink on top. By far the commonest, and the model our three-day wedding weekend guide walks through day by day. The food and the drink: a per-person price that bundles the meal with the wine, sometimes the aperitivo, the cake and a window of open bar. The whole wedding: venue, beds, food and drink in one number, at a guest count the venue names. It is what most couples picture when they search, and the rarest of the three.

We searched every wedding venue's file and all 71 fact packs for package, all-inclusive, buy-out, per person and per head. 125 venues use one of those words somewhere; 53 use them for something that bundles more than one line of the wedding, and 50 give a figure. Fifteen sell the venue and the beds, ten price a whole-property buy-out by the night, seven price the whole wedding, and eighteen price food and drink per person. They sit in fifteen regions: Tuscany 17, Umbria 8, Sicily 6, Puglia 4, and one to three in each of the rest.

Two things stand out. Five of the seven whole-wedding packages are in Umbria and a sixth is in Sicily. And every group is small, because most Italian venues price a wedding to its date and size rather than publish a package. A venue missing from these lists is not a venue without a price: we can get costs for every venue we list, and we ask them on your behalf.

The venues that price the package

Each figure is the venue's own, in its own words, with the unit and VAT basis it gave between August and October 2026; where it named no VAT basis we name none. Some are 2027 rates, some 2028, a few this season's, which remain a fair guide until the venue confirms the next. The order is alphabetical, never by price.

This is the backbone of the market. Starting figures run from €6,000 to €26,500, and much of that spread follows how many nights and beds come with them, from beds for 9 to beds for 58. The food is yours to add, from the venue's kitchen, its trusted caterers or, at many, a caterer of your own. Our guide to venues where guests stay on site covers the beds.

These are the closest Italy comes to the tiered hotel package. They sit on top of a venue fee or a buy-out unless the venue says otherwise, and a few here charge no hire fee for the meal at all, which makes the per-head figure very nearly the wedding.

Two more venues show their price on request and state a package or buy-out only in their own documents, and a third prices everything guests eat and drink per person, all-inclusive, without a figure in our files. Ask us, and we will get the figures for your date.

Considering a venue that has not published a package? Name it, and we will ask the venue for its package, menus and minimums against your date and guest count — request a tailored quote.

What a package includes, and what it leaves out

The fact packs are built from each venue's own price lists, brochures and emails, and they record exclusions as carefully as inclusions. Read together, all 71 agree.

A venue-and-beds package usually brings exclusive use, the rooms, breakfast for staying guests, cleaning, utilities, parking and the pool. Some include furniture for the ceremony and dinner; some leave it to the caterer. Some fold the wedding fee into the total, as Villa Il Poggiolino's three-night figure does; others list it separately.

A per-person package covers the aperitivo, the courses, water and coffee, service, and the tables, linen and mise en place. The drinks-inclusive ones add wine, often measured rather than unlimited (a bottle between three or four guests is a common formula), and sometimes Prosecco, the cake and a set window of open bar. Children's menus are often half price; staff and supplier meals are charged at eight venues with packs.

Outside almost every package sit the same few lines:

  • The SIAE music licence, named in 19 packs at roughly €200–500, usually the couple's cost.
  • Tourist tax, in 10 packs, at €1.50–3.50 per person per night or day.
  • A separate wedding or event fee, in at least a dozen packs, mostly €2,000–3,500.
  • A security deposit, where stated €500 to €15,000, most often €1,000–2,500.
  • A marquee when the indoor rain plan is too small, which 19 packs mention, usually at the couple's cost.
  • The bar beyond any included window, extra hours of music, and VAT where the figure is net.

None of these are traps. They vary with the music you choose, the nights guests stay and the weather on the day, and no venue can fix them in advance. Our guide to the costs couples miss takes each in turn.

Per person, venue hire or buy-out: how they add up

Per person. We count sixty venues in our files that state a per-person wedding menu: the median entry rate is €150, the middle half sit between €120 and €170. Our catering cost guide explains how that rate is built. Venue hire. 154 of our 290 wedding venues publish a from-price; in Tuscany, where 63 do, the quartiles are €8,000, €16,390 and €25,500, with catering added per head. Buy-out. The whole property for a set stay, from the starting figures of €6,000 to €26,500 above at villas and borghi to six figures a night at the grandest hotels.

At 50 guests, the median in the enquiries couples send us:

Venue and Wedding Meal, 50 Guests

Per person, no hire fee: 50 × €120–170€6,000–8,500
Venue hire plus menu: Tuscany's middle half, €8,000–25,500, plus 50 × €150€15,500–33,000
Venue-and-beds package plus menu: from €6,000–26,500, plus 50 × €150€13,500–34,000
Whole-wedding package, starting figures at the venue's own guest count€15,000–48,970
Then add, where they applydrinks, VAT, fees

The lines are not like for like, and that is the point: one buys a meal, one the place and the meal, one two or three nights for the people closest to you as well, and one most of the wedding. A package that looks dear beside a menu rate may be the cheapest route to the wedding you want. The budget calculator runs the rest of the lines at your guest count.

What our couples' budgets buy

Between November 2025 and October 2026, 1,432 couples sent us 3,019 enquiries, 1,127 of them in October 2026 alone. Of the 2,175 enquiries that stated a budget, 39% were under €30,000, 34% €30,000–50,000, 14% €50,000–75,000, 7% €75,000–100,000, 4% €100,000–150,000 and 2% above. The median guest count was 50; a quarter plan for under 30, a quarter for over 80.

Under €30,000 is €600 a guest at 50, the top of the mid-range band in our Italian wedding cost guide. It points to a per-person venue with no hire fee, a venue-and-beds package at the lower end plus the menu, or a whole-wedding package priced under €30,000 at its stated size; three on our list are. €30,000 to €50,000 fits a three-night venue-and-beds package with catering and drinks for 50, or Tuscany's median hire with a full menu; our guides to weddings under €50,000 and on €40,000 show how it is spent. €50,000 to €100,000, a fifth of budgets, opens longer stays, larger lists and the multi-event food packages; above €100,000, 6%, is where most buy-outs priced by the night sit.

Dates matter as much. Of 1,257 enquiries dated 2027, 42% are for September, which sits in the top price band on most rate cards we hold; midweek, shoulder-month and extra-night discounts of 5% to 30%, stated by at least seven venues, are the most useful lever in the price. And Tuscany draws the most interest, 576 couples, ahead of Lake Como 209, Puglia 187, Sicily 164, Rome 152, Umbria 134 and the Amalfi Coast 125. Umbria holds five of the seven whole-wedding packages: our Umbria and Tuscany comparison sets the two side by side, and Umbria's venues are one filter away.

The questions to ask before you sign

Many of the answers already exist: Verified venues answer instantly from their own facts, with their documents on your page. Filter the directory to Verified venues, or ask any venue directly.

1. What does the figure cover, for how many guests and nights? A package is priced at a guest count and a stay; ask what changes at yours.

2. What is the minimum stay? Of the 71 venues with packs, 36 state two nights or more, 20 ask three or more at least at weekends or in peak season, and four ask five to seven in high summer or over holidays. About a dozen hire by the day.

3. Is there a minimum guest count? Most often 40 to 60 for menus and packages, a few at 80 to 100. Below it you pay the minimum, which matters to the quarter of couples planning for under 30.

Villa Il Poggiolino, Lucignano — round wedding tables lit by candles and string lights under tall pines at night
Evening under the pines at Villa Il Poggiolino, where music runs outdoors until 1am.

4. When does the music stop, and where does the party go? Of the 39 packs that name an outdoor music time, 11 stop before midnight, 13 at midnight or half past, nine at 1am and six at 2am or later. About two dozen move the party indoors to carry on, and extra hours cost €100 to €2,000 an hour. Our music cost guide covers what that means for a band.

5. Which fees sit outside the package? The wedding fee, music licence, tourist tax, deposit and VAT: usually 10% on catering and accommodation and 22% on hire and services, quoted inclusive by some venues and net by others.

6. What happens if it rains, and for how many? More than fifty packs describe a rain plan, and its size is what matters. The indoor space often holds 50 to 70 when the lawn holds far more, and 19 packs say a marquee is needed above a set number.

7. When are payments due, and when do they stop being refundable? Packages are paid in stages, the food and drink often on final numbers a month or two before. Our venue contract guide and questions to ask a venue cover the rest.

The question to ask

"What does this package cost for our date and guest count, with VAT, the wedding fee, the music licence and tourist tax, and what does it leave for us to book?" Any good events team will answer it gladly.

Read it region by region

A package figure means most beside the regional picture. Our cost guides for Tuscany, Puglia, the Amalfi Coast and Lake Como set out what each region's venues charge, and Puglia against Sicily compares the south. The hubs for Tuscany, Umbria, Sicily and Puglia hold most of the packages here, and several venues above have a cost breakdown of their own, among them Borgo Bucciano, Villa Michaela and Casali di Colle San Paolo.
